Making an objection

You can make an objection in the following ways:

• By post

Write a legible letter (not more than one A4 side) containing clear reasons why you object to the penalty notice. Send the letter, stating your name, address and phone number, a copy of the issued ride out-cart and, if applicable, an easily-readable copy of your OV-chipkaart, to:

HTM’s response

HTM will send a confirmation of receipt within 14 days of receiving the objection and will respond to the objection as soon as possible. If HTM agrees with the objection, the amount paid will be refunded to your bank account within three weeks.
