Tickets for short stays of 1 to 3 days

If you only travel occasionally with HTM or if you’re only in The Hague and the surrounding area for a couple of days, HTM has various tickets that you can choose between.

The separate tickets listed below are not valid on the night buses (HTM Nachtbuzz). You can of course also travel on an OV-chipkaart.

HTM Uurnetkaart

An Uurnetkaart (hourly network card) lets you travel for 1 hour on HTM trams and HTMbuzz buses. Wherever you want to go. You are allowed to switch between them. For example, from Zoetermeer to the beach in Kijkduin, or from Delft to the centre of The Hague. This ticket costs €3.50. It can be bought from tram drivers and bus drivers (payment in cash) and in the machines in the RandstadRail tram (lines 2, 3, 4 and 19) with coins only, and in the R-net trams (line 2, 9, 11, 15 and 17) with coins, a bank card (Dutch or most European cards) or a credit card.
You can also buy an 1 hour ticket in the HTM ticket app on your smartphone (pay with creditcard).

HTM Dagkaart

The HTM Dagkaart (one-day card) costs €6.50. The one-day card is valid all day on all HTM trams and HTMbuzz buses. So you can travel around in The Hague, Delft, Zoetermeer, Leidschendam, Voorburg, Wateringen and Scheveningen.
It can be bought from tram drivers and bus drivers (payment in cash) and in the machines in the RandstadRail tram (lines 2, 3, 4 and 19) with coins only, and in the R-net trams (line 2, 9, 11, 15 and 17) with coins, a bank card (Dutch or most European cards) or a credit card. One-day tickets bought in the tram or bus are valid on the day of purchase. They can also be bought at the HTM Service Points at the Den Haag Centraal and Den Haag HS stations, VVV Den Haag (tourist agency shop in the Stadhuis in the centre of The Hague) and at some hotels.
You can also buy a Day ticket in the HTM ticket app on your smartphone (pay with creditcard).

HTM Kinder Dagkaart

You can buy a children’s one-day card (ages 4 to 12) for €2.50. This card can be bought at the HTM Service Points at the Den Haag Centraal, Den Haag HS and Zoetermeer Centrum-West stations, as well as VVV Den Haag (tourist agency shop in the Stadhuis in the centre of The Hague) and at some hotels. Children under 4 travel free on the trams and buses. You have to check in and out at the card readers by the doors in the tram and bus, every time that you get on or off. The day of validity starts when you first check in at a card reader.
You can also buy a Day ticket child in the HTM ticket app on your smartphone (pay with creditcard).

HTM 3 Day The Hague travelcard

For €16.50, we can take you everywhere. A ‘3 Day The Hague Travelcard' lets you travel for three days on HTM trams and HTMbuzz buses. Wherever you want to go. You are allowed to switch between them. For example, from Zoetermeer to the beach in Kijkduin, or from Delft to the centre of The Hague.

Tourist Day Ticket

This ticket is valid for travel throughout the province of Zuid-Holland for all bus, tram and metro carriers. A Tourist Day Ticket costs €13.50. This lets you travel for instance to The Hague, Delft, Rotterdam, Kinderdijk and Keukenhof.
With a Tourist Day Ticket, you have to check in and out at the card readers by the doors in the tram and bus, every time that you get on or off. For the metro lines, you check in and out at a pillar by the stop or at a gate. The day of validity starts when you first check in at a card reader.
This card can be bought at the HTM Service Points at the Den Haag Centraal, Den Haag HS and Zoetermeer Centrum-West stations, as well as VVV Den Haag (tourist agency shop in the Stadhuis in the centre of The Hague) and at some hotels (only available to guests). They can also be bought from the service shops of the other carriers in the region (RET, Arriva, Connexxion and Waterbus). www.touristdayticket.com

P+R Hoornwijck: parking and a one-day ticket

If you want to go to the centre of The Hague but want to avoid traffic jams and park cheaply, P+R Hoornwijck is the answer.  You can park your car at P+R Hoornwijck for the whole day, travel the whole day on HTM trams and HTMbuzz buses. You can travel in a group of up to 5 people. The P+R Hoornwijck site is number 38, Laan van Zuid Hoorn in Rijswijk (a garage car park). You can get there via the A4 (exit 9 for Ypenburg) and the A13 (exit 7, Den Haag-Zuid). The tram gets you into the centre of The Hague in quarter of an hour.

From the parking you walk to stop Laan van 's Gravemade. You take tram 15 to HS/Leegwaterplein. You get off at stop Hoornbrug. At the samen stop you get in tram 1 to Scheveningen Noorderstrand. You can get out at the Center stop for the Binnenhof, the Plein and the high street shops. On the way back, you get in at the same Center in tram 1 to Delft Tanthof. You get out at stop Hoornbrug. There you take tram 15 to Nootdorp and you get off at Laan van 's Gravemade. Take a look at the tram routes.

HTM Nachtbuzz (night bus)

You can go with the night bus at Friday and Saturday night. The night busses starts at the centre of The Hague at stop Binnenhof. The bus operates every hour from 01:00 till 05:00 o'clock. There 6 routes to Scheveningen, Leidschendam, Rijswijk, Ypenburg, Leidschenveen, Nootdorp and Delft. You can buy a ticket (€ 5,-) at the busdriver.
