1926 - The city of The Hague modernises

HTM operates 16 tram lines of which many reach the city outskirts. The Hague had nearly 410,000 inhabitants who accounted for 53 million tram and bus trips a year. The car is making its entrance and the car density is much higher than in other cities with 10 cars per thousand inhabitants.
