Electric bus

HTM bus rijdt voor het vredespaleis in Den Haag

Since December 2018, HTM has been running its services with electric buses on on the route of bus 28.

The bus has 24 fixed seats and 7 folding seats. The bus is equipped with a Qstraint, a new attachment device for a wheelchair. HTM wants to gain experience with this new type of bus and, based on this, gradually move to a complete fleet of zero emission buses.

All electric buses have:

  • A wide ground-level entry with the platform
  • 1 place for (hand powered) wheelchair, rollators and/or prams
  • 7 folding seats
  • Specially reserved seats for disabled, elderly and pregnant women
  • Information screens with route information
  • Automatic stop announcement
  • You can buy a ticket from the bus driver. You pay (contactless) with a bank card or credit card.
