Explanation of conditions of photo/video use

How great that you took a nice photo/video of HTM! We think our followers on social media will also like your photo or video. Therefore, we would love to use it to enthuse other tram and bus fans.

To share your photo or video, we need your permission. You can do this by using #HTMOK. If you use the hashtag #HTMOK, you give HTM permission for the following:

• To share your photo/video through our various social media channels.

Extra permission to use other marketing purposes

If we want to use your photo or video outside our social media channels or HTM's website, we will explicitly ask for your permission in a private message. The marketing purposes for which we always ask extra permission are:

• To use your image for online advertisements.
• To use your image in our offline media, for example on posters and flyers.

Ownership

The photo or video you share with us remains your property. Even after giving permission through #HTMOK

Attribution

Where possible, HTM will mention your social media account, but we are not obliged to do so. Has something gone wrong with a mention? Please send an e-mail to marketing@htm.nl with 'mention #HTMOK' in the subject line. Let us know which social media account is involved and on which page you saw the photo without mentioning your name by sending the URL and a screenshot of the page.

No permission to use/ Remove afterwards

Would you rather we did not share your nice photo or video on our channels? Of course you can. You don't have to do anything then. If you do not respond with #HTMOK, nothing will happen and we will not use the photo.

Have you already given us permission and changed your mind? Of course you can! Send an e-mail to marketing@htm.nl with the subject line 'no permission #HTMOK. In the e-mail, let us know which photo it is about and include a screenshot and URL. We will remove the photo as soon as possible! If it concerns a published advertisement or online expressions, such as posters or flyers, the photo unfortunately cannot be removed. Good to know: no compensation can be paid after withdrawal of consent.

Good to know:

• HTM cannot cooperate with financial expectations, after using your photo(s). We share the photos on a voluntary basis, think of this as a shout-out from your Instagram account to our followers.
• To keep a clear record of approved photos, we ask you to use #HTMOK only in your comments to us. Do not use this hashtag to signal us. Want to share something with us? Then tag us @HTM_Personal Transport
• By using the hashtag #HTMOK and sharing your photo or video, you declare that you have the legal rights to share it, and indemnify HTM from any liability in case of claims from third parties related to the use of your content
