HTM bus and tram timetable in the month of December

December is a month full of public holidays. For HTM buses and trams, that means a number of changes in the timetable and opening times of the Customer Service. Below is an overview of the changes.

HTM bus and tram timetable in the month of December

The HTM 2023 Annual Timetable starts on Sunday 11 December. There are no changes compared to the 2022 annual timetable.

On Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 December and from Monday 2 to Friday 6 January, certain bus lines will run according to the Christmas holiday timetable

This means:

Bus 21:

  • Between 07:00 and 09:00, the bus will run four times an hour rather than six times. This only applies going towards Scheveningen Noord.
  • Between 13:30 and 15:30, the bus will run four times an hour rather than six times. This only applies going towards Vrederust.

Bus 23:

  • There will be no extra school journeys between Rijswijk Station and Savornin Lohmanplein between 08:00 and 09:00.
  • There will be no extra school journeys between Savornin Lohmanplein and Rijswijk Station between 15:00 and 16:00.
  • Between 12:00 and 15:00, the bus will run between Colijnplein and Scheveningen Noord four times an hour rather than six times.

Bus 24

  • There will be no extra journeys between The Hague Central Station and Mariahoeve Station in either direction between 07:30 and 09:00.
  • There will be no extra journeys between The Hague Central Station and Mariahoeve Station in either direction between 13:30 and 17:00.

Bus 26

  • Between 07:00 and 09:30, the bus will run between Kijkduin and Voorburg Station in both directions four times an hour rather than five times
  • Bus 26 will run the extra school journeys from Leyenburg towards Voorburg Station four times an hour rather than five times.

The timetables of the other bus lines and the trams will not change during the Christmas holidays, and the current departure times will also apply.
