Rail and Paving Work at Rijswijkseplein (Phase 3)

In early June, HTM and the City of The Hague began extensive and long-term track and paving work on and around Rijswijkseplein in The Hague. All trams passing through Hollands Spoor Station will be rerouted in three separate phases.

Railway Construction Work

Phase 1: Complete

Phase 2: Complete

Phase 3: Monday, August 17, through Sunday, August 30
In Phase3, HTM is working on the tram tracks between De Haagse Toren and Van Maanenkade. The City of The Hague is working on the road from the Waldorpstraat intersection, under the railroad viaduct, to Spaarneplein. As a result, trams 15 and 17 will follow a slight detour, and some stops will be skipped. HS Station and The Hague Central Station will remain easily accessible during this phase. The other tram lines that pass through Rijswijkseplein will follow their regular routes. This is the third and final phase of the tram detours due to construction work on Rijswijkseplein.
