What is the balance on the OV-pas?
With the OV-pas, you travel on credit. You check in and out just like with the OV-chipkaart: hold your OV-pas against the card reader. The fare will then be deducted from your balance.
• You can top up a maximum of €150 on a pass.
• You can view your balance and travel costs in the HTM app or Mijn HTM.
• Forgot to check in or out? You can correct this in the OVpay app or on OVpay.nl within 60 days. Any money will be automatically deducted from your balance.
• To travel with HTM, you need a minimum of €4. (Other transport operators may apply different amounts.)
1. Select your OV-pas.
2. Choose the amount you want to add to your OV-pas.
3. Pay.
4. Your balance will usually be added to your OV-pas within a few minutes (max. 15 minutes).
5. Check in and out with your OV-pas and travel.
