Projects in the spotlight
Many stops suffer from prolonged information board failures, much to the frustration of our passengers. To reduce this inconvenience in the short term, we have provided as many as 366 bus stops and 15 tram stops with a QR code. This leads to a web page with the current departure times of the stop so you know exactly when your bus or tram leaves.
The bus and tram sometimes stop at the same stop, but where should you stand? With directions on the tiles, we help travelers find their place at the stop. This reduces the time the vehicle has to wait, and the traveler does not accidentally miss his bus or tram.
The driving behavior of our drivers has an impact on tram consumption. With an app we want to give drivers insight into this relationship and where necessary they can improve their driving style. This not only reduces energy consumption, but also makes the ride more comfortable for the passenger.
Meet the InnOVation tram! With this tram we are constantly testing: ideas from travelers and from ourselves. Thanks to this tram we can test good ideas in the short term and possibly test them on a larger scale.
Besides short-term tests, you can also see long-term tests in this streetcar, such as the upholstery, a new floor but also a happy or not dashboard and online surveys.
