InnOVation tram
That's why HTM's InnOVation tram will run through The Hague from early 2019. This is a tram that will be used as usual on the route of trams 2, 3, 4 and 19, but has just a little something extra. You can recognise the tram by its striking aluminium exterior and the banners with innOVation tram.
With this tram, we always want to test something new. Ideas from travellers and from ourselves. This way, we can also implement good ideas faster. We are curious what you think of this. The tram has the following special features:
Durable aluminium wrapping
The tram has an aluminium layer along its entire length. This is also used on sports cars and is very wear-resistant. Unlike the usual layer of paint or sticker on trams, this wrapping can last for up to two years.
New layout and interior
In the middle section of the tram, details can also be found on the inside.
- Five seats have been swapped for two standing poles and a 'window seat' at the window for more space and better flow
- New, fresh-looking and low-maintenance seat covers
- Antibacterial coating on the holding bars, so clean hands!
- New floor for quieter look
Interaction with passengers
- Measure traveller satisfaction daily via 'happy-or-not' dashboard
- Collect travellers' ideas on the spot via online survey
- Two large screens for extra travel information and videos by HTM
