Traveling Through the Summer by Bus and Tram
Summer vacation runs from July 18 through August 30. During this period, buses and trams will operate on a modified schedule.
Because there is less commuter traffic in the summer, trams 10 and 34 are not running. These lines are normally intended primarily for rush hour.
Many bus and tram lines run less frequently during summer vacation. On the other hand, there is actually extra service to the beach. You can quickly travel to Scheveningen on the 9S express tram. Check the schedule to see when it runs. Starting July 18, bus 23 runs daily between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to the beach in Kijkduin.
