HTM 20% Discount

HTM 20% Discount is a travel product that gives you a 20% discount on the fare for travel on HTM streetcars and buses, with the exception of HTM Nightbus. If you are entitled to an age discount, the 20% discount is calculated over the fare in which the age discount is already included.

General

-The discount applies to travel with a public transport pass or debit card.

-You link HTM20% Discount to one pass of your choice.

-You are responsible for the use of the pass to which HTM 20% Discount is linked .

-When you replace your pass, you must link the travel product to your new pass again.

-Are you entitled to an age discount? Then you will receive 20% discount over the reduced fare that already includes the age discount. Age discount applies at HTM only for travelers aged 4 to 11 or 65 and older who have added age discount to their pass. -If multiple travel products are on your pass, one travel product is automatically applied per trip. HTM cannot guarantee that this is always the most advantageous product. We advise you to check whether there is any overlap between travel products and avoid this where possible.

Purchase

-HTM 20% Discount can be purchased easily on htm.nl or at one of the HTM Service Shops. You can choose from a one-off monthly product or a continuous variant. You always pay HTM 20% Discount in advance of each monthly period. More information can be found in our General Order and Payment Terms and Conditions.

-When purchasing through htm.nl you have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 calendar days. This starts on the day after purchase. Within this period you can dissolve the product. Once you indicate this, HTM 20% Discount will be blocked and you will receive the amount paid back. If you traveled with a reduced fare during the cancellation period, HTM can settle the difference between the paid reduced fare and the regular fare. HTM 20% Discount starts on your chosen start date and has a minimum term of one month.

You pay a fixed amount per month, prior to each monthly period. You can find the current rate on htm.nl/tarieven

HTM may adjust rates annually within the framework of the applicable regulations.

Travel with this discount.

-To use HTM 20% discount you must check in and out with the pass to which the product is linked on each trip, otherwise you will not have a valid ticket.

-The discount only applies to travel with HTM. HTM 20% Discount does not work with other public transport companies.

-The discount is calculated over the fare, which consists of a basic fare and an amount per kilometer. When using age discount, the discount is applied to the already reduced fare .

-When transferring to or from another carrier, the discount does not apply to the travel portion on the other carrier. If you switch within 35 minutes, you only pay the basic fare once.

-If you have an HTM account, you will find an overview of your order, your trips and travel expenses, made with HTM 20% Discount. If you travel with a public transport pass, the travel costs incurred will be deducted from your balance. If you travel with a debit card, the travel costs will be debited afterwards from the payment account to which the pass with HTM 20% Discount is linked.

-If a check-out is missing for a ride that was made, you can correct this via OVpay.nl. When the missed check-out is corrected, you will receive the corrected ride back and you will also find it on the payment statement in your HTM account.

Stop

-HTM 20% Discount can be cancelled before the start date. You will then receive a full refund. With an ongoing subscription you can cancel per the next monthly period. For additional conditions regarding termination and payment, please see the General Terms and Conditions of Order and Payment

-HTM may terminate the subscription in the following situations, among others:

oIn the event of non-payment

oIn the event of fraud or abuse of the travel product

oif the pass to which the product is linked is no longer valid

oif laws or regulations or other circumstances mean that continuation is not reasonably possible .

In these cases, HTM may block the travel product. Any outstanding amounts will remain due. See the General Order and Payment Terms and Conditions for more information.

Amendments to product terms and conditions

-HTM may amend these product terms and conditions. The most up-to-date version will be published on htm.nl and will apply from the date of publication.

-We advise you to consult the terms and conditions regularly .

-HTM may terminate HTM 20% Discount with immediate effect if continuation can no longer reasonably be expected of HTM due to changed circumstances .
